There are a million decisions you need to make before the baby gets here.

You need to select the color scheme of the nursery. Install the car seat. Think of a cutesy middle name. Apple? Hipster? Laker? Find a suitable pre-school, school, college, etc. for your child. Everything needs to be walking distance, obviously.

And now you even have to decide how many and what kind of cloth diapers to get?

Although we cannot decide what your baby’s middle name should be (I’d go with Lil Helper- why not?), we can definitely make your life simpler by offering our Lil Helper Day Pack. It has all the diapers & inserts you might need for 1 full-day of cloth diapering.

If you are not into doing laundry everyday, we would recommend getting at least 2 and preferably 3 packs. So if you plan on washing your diapers every 2 days then you need 2 Day Packs. You should ideally start with 2 day packs and if you think you need more diapers then we recommend you get an additional pack.

All of this comes with the our legendary customer support where emails are answered super quick like, and you always have the option to call in with questions.

Cloth diapering, like any new thing you try, has a learning curve but our diapers are designed to be intuitive mixed with our over-zealous customer service, you will never be in want of answers.

Think we are kidding? Here’s the cell number of Lil Helper’s CEO, Mohammed, 647-885-4642. Ask him why you should get his diapers. Don’t worry about the time- just call. Now try that with any other company.

    1. Great diapers

I really like these diapers. Simple to use, easy to wash (no stains) and they dry so quickly. Fit my baby great and they don't leak at all. At first I didn't understand the emails and was a bit thrown off, but I think I have no sense of humour! I will be buying more. Tried a bunch of brands and these are my favourite by far. on 25th Mar 2020

    2. great cloth diapers

These diapers are great! We started using them with my newborn and they are easy to use for a newbie like me. They do not seem to leak so far and they wash great in the washing machine. They dry on a rack super fast too!! Totally would recommend. on 22nd Feb 2020

    3. Easy to use!

I cannot compare to other brands of cloth diapers, but we have found that this brand of cloth diapers is working well for us. We took advantage of the trial diaper and found it to be very soft and our baby is comfortable in them. The youtube videos are helpful for finding a good fit for a newborn. We are currently using the skinny legs fit and have yet to have any leaks. on 9th Feb 2020

    4. Best fabric diapers

Amazing product, would definitely buy again. Great for babies bums; would definitely recommend to others as well on 13th Jan 2020

    5. Day pack!

I was so excited when our day pack arrived and have to say I think lil helper has some of the cutest prints out there. Excellent quality in both the materials and the construction. I’ve been using them for two months now and they haven’t leaked once, contain a lot so you have to change baby less frequently, and have handled frequent washing very well so far. My only issue is that our baby girl has the chunkiest little legs and the diapers are tight around the thighs leaving red marks. This prevents leaks of course but I’d love if there were 2 snaps for the thighs and slightly longer wings to adjust for thigh robustness:) I will still be getting another day pack soon as she is starting to get leaner, so I definitely recommend this product. on 8th Jan 2020

    6. Cloth Diapers

I was introduced to Lilhelpers cloth diapers by a friend and omg it was the best decision ever. Why? No more poop explosion, easy to wash, cheaper in the long run and safe for baby's bum. And best of all, baby is happy. Happy baby, happy parents. (and did I mention they have the cutest prints?) on 29th Dec 2019

    7. Impressed by the quality

I am really impressed by the quality of the diapers (soft fabric, well thought inserts design and amazing prints) and the quality of service by Lil Helpers. My baby is due in February so I cannot comment much on how the diapers hold things together but so far I am really excited to try them on my baby. Fyi, I ordered samples of three diaper brands before deciding to buy a full stack of lil helper diapers from walmart and the lil helpers website. on 18th Dec 2019

    8. Healthy bum!

Love these diapers. They keep baby's bum so healthy! I had to switch to disposables for a short time (like a day and a half) because he's tiny and the lil helpers were covering his belly button (which needed some air). His skin got angry red in that short time, even using cloth wipes. Went back to lil helpers and it was gone in another day. Also love that he's never leaked out of the lil helpers, where he has leaked out of disposables! Also love the designs, and the fact that they are so easy to customize, having so many snappable options for sizing and fit. Washing is easy, with such clear directions for detergent and process. Happy bum, happy mom! on 4th Dec 2019

    9. We love them!

These diapers and inserts are great quality and last us more than a day often! Definitely the best cloth diapers we have tried! on 1st Nov 2019

    10. Grandma's Fav!

I'm a Grandma that looks after our 2 month old Grandson at least one full day a week. I ordered the day pack and it gives me enough diapers to get through the day. I also got the trial diaper at the same time and another free one with a code. The baby's parents aren't ready yet to try cloth diapering but I'm hoping that they will get into it once they have caught up on their sleep, etc. It's easy enough for me to use these super cute diapers when the baby is with me and then wash them up at the end of the day. They never have to bring diapers to Grandma's house! My "gift" to them.
Diapers have sure come a long way since my kids were in cloth diapers! The Lil Helpers are an excellent product and I was sold on the fact that they are a Canadian company and that they donate diapers to needy families.

    11. awesome diapers!

I love these! such great quality! cant wait to buy more. on 5th Oct 2019

    12. Fantastic experience from start to finish!

I did a lot of research before settling for the LilHelper cloth diapers and I absolutely love the experience (have been using them for 2 months exclusively so far). We had to use "regular" diapers for the first week to not touch the baby's belly button and were shocked to see how much garbage had accumulated in just 1 week. Switching to the cloth diapers made me feel so much better and I find it to be less time consuming than regular diapers. I don't have to go shopping and carry around big boxes of diapers and cloths, I don't have to take the garbage down every other day and using reusable cloths makes cleaning up the mess soooo much faster and easier. Washing the diapers is no problem at all and the inserts come out practically dry and ready to go. Absolutely love these diapers! on 20th Sep 2019

    13. Day pack

I cannot day enough about Lil helpers diapers I love them so much I wish I knew about lil helpers with our first child . So many beautiful prints and they are so easy to use. I was scared of cloth diapers before but after trying Lil helpers I am looking forward to this journey. on 5th Sep 2019

    14. The patterns!! OMG

I am absolutely in love with these patterns. I am so excited and cannot wait to start using them on our little one (due anytime now!).

I also always get a kick out this group and how you interact with us. Always feel valued and can get a good chuckle.

Looking forward to ordering more once we see how the cloth diapering goes!

    15. Great Product & Exceptional Customer Service

I contacted Lil helper for the first time in 2017. I remember talking to Mohammed (the Rocket Scientist turned CEO of the diaper company) and understanding more about cloth diapering. He asked me why I wanted to cloth diaper my son who was turning 18 months old at that time(as most of the cloth diaper kids get potty trained by that age). Rather than selling his product, he suggested ordering the trial pack and seeing if it work for me. That kind of advice is admirable

I ordered the trial diaper and was impressed but unfortunately, my toddler's chunky thighs weren't happy with the fit (the product was great)

I decided to try cloth diapering again in 2019 with my second baby (as it was always on the back of my mind).

I contacted Lil Helper and was surprised as I was instantly recognized ( I guessed this rocket scientist has a great memory and exceptional customer skills10/10).

I ordered my first-day pack which consist of three print and three solid coloured diapers.

I ordered on a late Thursday afternoon and the parcel arrived on Monday morning (fast delivery 10/10).

I was eagerly waiting for the box to arrive as I wanted to start cloth diapering soon. The box came with 6 diapers and inserts + 8 extra inserts+ 1 extra printed diaper ( I was given a code to get an additional diaper + 1 yellow polka dot bib ( unexpected gift) 10/10

There was a handwritten thank you note (awesome)

I liked the idea of sending little goodies inside the box along with tea packs for the mums. That little personal touch is amazing.

I found the prints of Lil helper diapers cute and unisex. I honestly feel their prints are more beautiful than all other diaper companies in the market. Their all in one diaper system is easy to use and easier to dry. I have been using their day pack from last few weeks and found no poop spots on the charcoal inserts after wash.

Cloth diapering is still a niche market and the information available online can be overwhelming for the people who want to try it.

I found the Lil helper YouTube videos very helpful and completely love the video where they explained about what goes into the insert and diaper cover.

Overall, I am proud of my decision of buying their diapers for my baby.

    16. Love though yet to try

I signed up for a trial with lil helper because I am due in December with my second. I really want to try cloth diapering but the start up costs are insane. I haven't tried yet (obviously) but the company's humor and hand written note had me at hello. I will continue to purchase from here If I can, just for the pure humor and friendliness of this Company, not to mention their quality of diapers is amazing. on 26th Jul 2019

    17. Love Lil Helpers!

We love these diapers! They work great, are easy to clean and look fabulous! Honestly, one of our favorite things now that our girl is here! Plus no wasting away in a landfill for longer than we can imagine...We will continue to spread to the word about Lil Helpers!!! on 16th Jul 2019

    18. News worthy diapers!

Superb adjustability and overall easy to maintain. All the little extras are worthwhile buying too. For example, we are super happy with the stay dry liners. We use them for night time and longer road trips because of their super silky bum feel on 15th Jul 2019

    19. Practical, Affordable and Quality Cloth Option

Bought the day pack, through a third party, a few years back for a family members shower gift. Loved the print designs but what I really loved were the notes and little extra surprises included... not going to lie almost keep the notes and treats for myself because they made my day but in the end I did not feel right doing it! So... was super excited when the time came for me to order for my own little ones! As with other products from lil helpers was not disappointed! on 11th Jul 2019

    20. Pros and Cons

I’ve tried four brands of cloth diapers: Lil Helpers, Grovia AIO, Smart Bottoms AIO, and Bumgenius AIO. Here are my thoughts on the pros and cons of Lil Helpers:

Lil Helpers hold quite a bit, and in general, they don’t leak.

The second row of snaps is staggered, so you can adjust the waist and legs separately. Most other brands aren’t designed for this.

Absorbency is customizable with the inserts you choose. My 13 lb baby can get away with one bamboo insert for 3 hours. This helps to ease the bulkiness while he is still little.

Laundry is better with Lil Helpers, because the covers and inserts snap apart, making them easy to line dry. The charcoal inserts don’t stain, and everything gets pretty clean because they are separated.

Customer service was great with this day pack, and the packing staff were able to swap out some of the charcoal inserts for bamboo upon request.

The company and majority of the customer base are Canadian, making the Facebook group a great resource and more relevant to Canadian parents than other brands.

If you’re planning on buying new, Lil Helpers is a more economical option. The price per diaper is lower than other brands, and the removable inserts reduce the number of covers you need to purchase.

Lil Helpers are bulkier than the other brands I’ve tried, partially because of the staggered snap style causing a bit of bunching, but mostly because the double inserts are rather large and are meant to be folded up taco-style. Perhaps one day, when my baby is bigger I will be grateful for the large size and generous gusset, but they are a bit much at this stage.

The hip tabs are far less stretchy than other brands, so you have to leave quite a belly gap to keep baby comfortable, which further contributes to bulkiness at the front.

Covers aren’t dryer safe, and it’s sad when you accidentally put one in the dryer. Doesn’t look like there’s any harm done yet, but it’s still a sad realization.

I wish the PUL layer extended over the waist slightly and into the inside of the diaper. This would prevent the occasional problem of wetness wicking up the cover fleece and onto baby’s waist.

I wish the small bamboo inserts came with a stay-dry liner stitched in like the boosters have, since you always have to use a liner with bamboo anyway. It would save us some laundry sorting and prevent the liner from shifting around. It would also make many parents less sad about stains on the white bamboo.
