FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE CANADA & U.S., PLEASE GO TO OUR INTERNATIONAL DAY PACK. THANKS!
There are a million decisions you need to make before the baby gets here.
You need to select the color scheme of the nursery. Install the car seat. Think of a cutesy middle name. Apple? Hipster? Laker? Find a suitable pre-school, school, college, etc. for your child. Everything needs to be walking distance, obviously.
And now you even have to decide how many and what kind of cloth diapers to get?
Although we cannot decide what your baby’s middle name should be (I’d go with Lil Helper- why not?), we can definitely make your life simpler by offering our Lil Helper Day Pack. It has all the diapers & inserts you might need for 1 full-day of cloth diapering.
If you are not into doing laundry everyday, we would recommend getting at least 2 and preferably 3 packs. So if you plan on washing your diapers every 2 days then you need 2 Day Packs. You should ideally start with 2 day packs and if you think you need more diapers then we recommend you get an additional pack.
All of this comes with the our legendary customer support where emails are answered super quick like, and you always have the option to call in with questions.
Cloth diapering, like any new thing you try, has a learning curve but our diapers are designed to be intuitive mixed with our over-zealous customer service, you will never be in want of answers.
Think we are kidding? Here’s the cell number of Lil Helper’s CEO, Mohammed, 647-885-4642. Ask him why you should get his diapers. Don’t worry about the time- just call. Now try that with any other company.
We love these diapers! They work great, are easy to clean and look fabulous! Honestly, one of our favorite things now that our girl is here! Plus no wasting away in a landfill for longer than we can imagine...We will continue to spread to the word about Lil Helpers!!! Marybeth, David and Bernadette on 16th Jul 2019
Superb adjustability and overall easy to maintain. All the little extras are worthwhile buying too. For example, we are super happy with the stay dry liners. We use them for night time and longer road trips because of their super silky bum feel Lacey Cormier on 15th Jul 2019
Bought the day pack, through a third party, a few years back for a family members shower gift. Loved the print designs but what I really loved were the notes and little extra surprises included... not going to lie almost keep the notes and treats for myself because they made my day but in the end I did not feel right doing it! So... was super excited when the time came for me to order for my own little ones! As with other products from lil helpers was not disappointed! Unknown on 11th Jul 2019
I’ve tried four brands of cloth diapers: Lil Helpers, Grovia AIO, Smart Bottoms AIO, and Bumgenius AIO. Here are my thoughts on the pros and cons of Lil Helpers:
Lil Helpers hold quite a bit, and in general, they don’t leak.
The second row of snaps is staggered, so you can adjust the waist and legs separately. Most other brands aren’t designed for this.
Absorbency is customizable with the inserts you choose. My 13 lb baby can get away with one bamboo insert for 3 hours. This helps to ease the bulkiness while he is still little.
Laundry is better with Lil Helpers, because the covers and inserts snap apart, making them easy to line dry. The charcoal inserts don’t stain, and everything gets pretty clean because they are separated.
Customer service was great with this day pack, and the packing staff were able to swap out some of the charcoal inserts for bamboo upon request.
The company and majority of the customer base are Canadian, making the Facebook group a great resource and more relevant to Canadian parents than other brands.
If you’re planning on buying new, Lil Helpers is a more economical option. The price per diaper is lower than other brands, and the removable inserts reduce the number of covers you need to purchase.
Lil Helpers are bulkier than the other brands I’ve tried, partially because of the staggered snap style causing a bit of bunching, but mostly because the double inserts are rather large and are meant to be folded up taco-style. Perhaps one day, when my baby is bigger I will be grateful for the large size and generous gusset, but they are a bit much at this stage.
The hip tabs are far less stretchy than other brands, so you have to leave quite a belly gap to keep baby comfortable, which further contributes to bulkiness at the front.
Covers aren’t dryer safe, and it’s sad when you accidentally put one in the dryer. Doesn’t look like there’s any harm done yet, but it’s still a sad realization.
I wish the PUL layer extended over the waist slightly and into the inside of the diaper. This would prevent the occasional problem of wetness wicking up the cover fleece and onto baby’s waist.
I wish the small bamboo inserts came with a stay-dry liner stitched in like the boosters have, since you always have to use a liner with bamboo anyway. It would save us some laundry sorting and prevent the liner from shifting around. It would also make many parents less sad about stains on the white bamboo. Claudia on 11th Jul 2019
I love the quality, but I don't really like the prints. Can you make some abstract designs? I don't love the idea of peeing and pooping on cute little critters! Carmen on 3rd Jul 2019
I purchased this set after the trial diaper. 6 is not enough for my little guy for a day at this point... But he's an 11 week old, very frequent pooper. However i imagine as time goes on it will be just about enough for a day. Anyway I'll likely buy another set, so i don't have to do the washing every day... Just waiting for new prints.
I'm new to cloth diapering, so the first little while has been a bit of trial and error regarding sizing. I have not had any blowouts (even with the number of poops this guy does). I've had one or two leaks, but it's helped me improve the fit, so that they didn't happen again. The Facebook group is brilliant for help.
I don't feel like cloth is much more difficult than disposables. I don't have to deal with rashes and diaper cream! I have to do extra washing, and that's only a bit of a burden at the moment because i don't have enough (so I'm washing daily). I expected to struggle with a lot more aspects of cloth.
The product is lovely and soft and really wicks liquid away from the little guy's bottom. The quality of the diapers and inserts is excellent. I love the designs.
But more than anything i love the principles that this company is based on. Yes, they're canadian, but they've also done research to ensure that their supply chain is ethical, they give 1 diaper to a family in need for ever 3 that are sold, and the customer support is so genuinely caring that you immediately feel part of a family.
I've had a look at other canadian cloth diapers and none seem to meet the standards of lil helpers. I love supporting such a great company! And can't wait for more prints! Aksinia on 24th Jun 2019
The things I like about these diapers:
They are cute and soft
The snap-ins are easy to use
The charcoal inserts are amazing at wicking moisture!
The bamboo holds a lot of pee
The diapers can be adjusted to fit skinny legs/chunky legs.
Customer service is excellent
Things I wish were different:
You can’t use a large insert alone or the snap rubs against baby.
Because there are so many “fit hacks” I think it would be handy for new cloth diapering parents (and family/daycares) to include a card with the different fold settings per age/weight. I spent a lot of time with leaks and googling videos for tips to fix these issues. It would have been nice to have that info come with the box and it could be given to whoever is taking care of baby that day.
Would be nice to have an option for less packaging (each diaper came in it’s own slip, which looks nice! But a simple button at checkout to “reduce packaging” would save lots of paper waste ;)

For those current parents out there, two words. Teething Poops. 100% contained. All one million per day.
For those future parents out there, two words. TEETHING SUCKS. But lil helpers makes the best of an angry poop machine of a baby who tries to chew on your face with those brand new little razor teeth.
10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Making the decision to cloth diaper can be daunting - it took me some time during our pregnancy to convince my spouse to be on board. We did a lot of research and decided to invest only in Lil Helper diapers. While they weren't great fit for our newborn (too big), now that our little one is a bit bigger we are really enjoying getting to use our fluff! We have had a bit of a learning curve figuring out our laundry routine but the Lil helper delight team has been incredible! The customer service from this company is unbeatable <3 Erin on 5th Jun 2019
I’ve purchased other cloth diapers and nothing compares to these!! These diapers are very snug and fit perfect. No leaks except at night but that was my fault I forgot to order night time liners. I will be ordering again Alex on 24th May 2019
I love your diapers and being able to choose 3 solids and 3 prints is great. All your diapers are beautiful and I want to have 1 of each. Shailynn on 20th May 2019
I just started using Lil helper diapers about 3 weeks ago in my 2 month old daughter and have fallen in love with them! I wanted to start using cloth diapers but was nervous about if they would actually as well as they said, well they absolutely do! I have not had them lek through once, and they are so easy to clean and work with outside of the house! I would highly recommend this product to anyone because of how easy they are! I love every Lil Helper product Debbie Mallet on 1st May 2019
I’m a FTM and these diapers are amazing! They're are so easy to use and wash and not to mention the prints and solid colours are super cute. Definitely a great buy. I would never buy any other diaper brand Shania on 24th Apr 2019
Baby isn't here yet but I'm so excited to use my diapers! Resisting the urge to diaper my cats! Jessie on 2nd Apr 2019
New time mom and new with cloth! These are the best! I have 2 brands lil helper and bumpkins, lil helpers are my better ones which explains why I'm writing this review! I was looking for a cloth diaper that would be easy to use and that would save money. Lil helpers is made with inserts that can be changed each diaper change and shell can be used more then once, as long as its not wet or dirty of course! Which is why i think they're so great compared to the pocket style cloth diapers.
With my first order of these I also got a couple of freebie goodies that made me like lil helpers even more!
Such a great brand with great customer service (ask them any questions if your unsure they're such a great help!) KCole on 24th Mar 2019
I absolutely love using my lilhelpers cloth diapers! They are easy to use and clean. I really like the button system and the fact they are so adjustable and can be used throughout the time my little one is in diapers! Excellent product! Unknown on 22nd Mar 2019
I have been using lilhelpers for a couple months now and have never had a leak.. not once. They are easy to clean and they never have any stains after a wash. The customer service is AMAZING!!!! Always helpful and quick reply. Love the prints. I’m very happy :) Crystal on 5th Mar 2019
Love these diapers. They fit well, are easy to use, and customer service is impeccable.
I love the prints and thankful for the more “girly” prints. Shipping to my house was quick and my diapers came packaged nicely with lots of extras included.
Best part is the personal hand written card from the owner. Awesome!
Plus, bonus these diapers look sooooo cute on our daughter and handsome on our son.
I’d recommend these diapers, and have without hesitation.
Next, I’ll be trying the overnight inserts. Currently we use disposables for overnight.
Over all nothing bad I have found about this diaper or company.
They stand behind what they make! Carla Brodhagen on 22nd Jan 2019
They are fantastic! So easy to use, dry fast, minimize diaper rash. I love them. Unknown on 25th Nov 2018
